Manufacturing and Technical Support Engineer

The position is primarily responsible for supervising all the processes related to the manufacturing of company’s products. Understands all the products and its functionalities in order to provide the necessary technical assistance /support as required.

Job Description 工作職掌
1. Works closely with the Hardware Product Development team to fully
understand the functions and capabilities of each product in order to provide competent technical assistance on how to fix system glitches and hardware malfunctions.
2. Provides technical support / assistance to internal (Business Units and Global Services department) and external users of company’s products.
3. Assists the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor in preparing the Repair and Maintenance Manual, Repair Reports, Production Reports and all the necessary documents.
4. Gathers reports from each step of the production process on technical issues encountered and other incidents regarding the product functionalities, reliabilities, etc.; provides feedback to the hardware development team on the issues encountered; maintains and updates the Maintenance, Repair and Training Manuals as necessary.
5. Builds and maintains the database of repair information, problems and
actions taken for each company’s products.
6. Keeps up-to date with product upgrades and changes to ensure the delivery of competent service to Internal Business Units and Global Services Department.
7. Supervises the product manufacturing process, assembly lines, etc.
8. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the local Branch Office Head and the President.
Key Technical and Professional Skills required 條件需求
1. Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years related work experience.
3. Engineering license as applicable
4. Technical Troubleshooting
5. Customer Service
6. Supervisory Skills
7. Process Documentation
8. Technical Training Facilitation
9. Proficient in MS Office applications
10. Ability to listen and easily comprehend customer’s issues and concerns
11. Solid knowledge of computer engineering tools (hardware and software)
12. Understanding of SOP, DOA and RMA
13. Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines
14. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) fluently in English
15. Team-player
16. Strong attention to detail
Working Conditions and Hazard 工作環境
1. Extensive Travel requirements, passport should be readily available
2. Moderate exposure to disagreeable elements like noise, dust, heat, or filthy odor
